Campaign to Save Family Support
March 30, 2009

On March 30, 2009, a group of more than 50 citizens consisting of individuals with disabilities, parents and caregivers of children with disabilities, along with other supporters of MFOFC and The Arc of Mass, visited Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo's office.

Delivered to his office were thousands of postcards with a written message explaining why Family Support cannot be eliminated. These postcards were signed by citizens throughout the Commonwealth.

As postcards were placed on a table outside the door of the Speaker's office, parents shared with his Aide what Family Support means to their family.
